‘Raiders From the North’ – Where it all began ….

Delighted to see from India Today that people still like reading about Babur. Last year I returned to his homelands in Central Asia and spent time in fabulous Samarkand where his ancestor Timur’s buried.

One of the best books i have read (Period).
i dont know why this is not more famous, something tells me if this book had been about someone from europe (read old british empire) we would all be watching a hollywood movie or HBO series.
I am an avid fan of “Song of ice and fire” but first 200 pages of this book gave me more thrills !
